OSMOAIR™ OSMO MINI

A compact indoor environmental monitoring device for continuous temperature and humidity sensing.

Interactive 3D model
Product Overview
[1/7]

OSMO MINI is the entry-level device in the OSMOAIR™ family, built for continuous monitoring of the basics. It ships with temperature and relative humidity sensing plus two configurable add-on slots (H₂ available today). It stores data locally, sends it to the cloud over Wi-Fi or SIM via MQTTS, and communicates locally over Bluetooth or RS-485, so it works standalone or as part of a larger system.

It's for continuous indoor monitoring in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings. Indoor use only; install and operate it per the user manual.

Key Highlights
[2/7]

Temperature & Humidity Sensing

Continuous, calibrated readings across -40°C to 125°C and 0 to 100% relative humidity.

Configurable Add-On Slot

Two add-on sensor slots, with Hydrogen (H₂) currently available for gas-specific monitoring.

Wi-Fi & Bluetooth Connectivity

802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and BLE 5.0, plus RS-485 for add-on communication.

Tool-Free Wall Mount

Mounts with 3M CMD adhesive in a 134.87 × 85.09 × 38.10 mm enclosure, with no drilling required.

On-Device Data Resilience

16 GB on-device data backup recording data locally at 60-second intervals independently of network connectivity.

NABL Calibration

Available with calibration certificates from NABL-accredited laboratories.

Environmental Parameters
[4/7]

What this device measures, and why each parameter matters. Expand any one for its purpose, common sources, and where it comes up.

Standard Parameters
T°

Temperature

The degree of heat or cold in an indoor environment. It directly affects occupant comfort, equipment performance, and process stability.

RH

Relative Humidity

The amount of moisture present in the air relative to its maximum capacity. Maintaining the right humidity helps prevent condensation, static electricity, and material degradation.

Optional Add-On Parameters2 Configurable Expansion Slots
H₂

Hydrogen (H₂)

The lightest and highly flammable gas, commonly released during lead-acid battery charging. Continuous monitoring is essential in battery rooms to detect hazardous accumulation.

CO

Carbon Monoxide (CO)

A colorless, odorless, and toxic gas produced by incomplete fuel combustion. It is commonly monitored in utility rooms, parking areas, and mechanical spaces.

O₂

Oxygen (O₂)

A naturally occurring gas that makes up about 21% of the atmosphere and supports human respiration. Monitoring oxygen helps identify oxygen-deficient or oxygen-enriched environments.

H₂S

Hydrogen Sulphide (H₂S)

A toxic gas with a characteristic rotten-egg odor, typically found in wastewater, sewage, and industrial processing facilities. Even low concentrations require early detection.

NH₃

Ammonia (NH₃)

A colorless alkaline gas widely used in refrigeration systems, laboratories, and industrial manufacturing. Monitoring helps detect leaks before they become operational or safety concerns.

Configurable Sensor Options

  • Two configurable add-on sensor slots
  • Add-on communication support: RS-485
How It Works
[5/7]
01

Install the device

Clean the wall surface, attach the 3M CMD adhesive strip to the rear mounting plate, mount firmly at eye level without drilling, attach the SMA antenna, and connect the 5V DC 2A aviation power connector.

02

Connect to the OSMOAIR Platform

Connect via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, BLE 5.0, or RS-485, access the local embedded web interface on port 80, or configure MQTTS cloud telemetry.

03

Monitor, alert, and report

Continuously acquire environmental parameters, record data locally every 60 seconds with 16 GB backup, send threshold-based SMTP email alerts, and generate automated daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
