Product Overview
[1/7]

OSMO PRO is the advanced device for full indoor air quality assessment. It has 10 built-in parameters (temperature, relative humidity, CO₂, PM1.0/2.5/4.0/10, TVOC index, NOx index, and AQI) plus four configurable add-on slots for application-specific gases. It stores data locally, sends it to the cloud over Wi-Fi or SIM via MQTTS, and communicates locally over Bluetooth or RS-485, so it drops into enterprise monitoring and compliance systems.

From that data it produces reports and compliance documentation on your terms. Sensor hardware ships with certificates from NABL-accredited labs, so the readings are traceable.

Key Highlights

Environmental Parameters
[4/7]

What this device measures, and why each parameter matters. Expand any one for its purpose, common sources, and where it comes up.

Standard Built-In Parameters10 Default
T°

Temperature

The degree of heat or cold in an indoor environment. It directly affects occupant comfort, equipment performance, and process stability.

RH

Relative Humidity

The amount of moisture present in the air relative to its maximum capacity. Maintaining the right humidity helps prevent condensation, static electricity, and material degradation.

CO₂

Carbon Dioxide (CO₂)

A naturally occurring gas released through human respiration and combustion. Elevated CO₂ levels often indicate inadequate ventilation and overcrowded indoor spaces.

VOC

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC)

A family of airborne chemicals emitted from paints, furniture, adhesives, cleaning products, and solvents. High VOC levels can reduce indoor air quality and indicate chemical pollution.

NOx

Nitrogen Oxides (NOx)

Reactive gases produced by fuel-burning equipment, generators, boilers, and vehicle emissions. They are commonly monitored in buildings exposed to combustion sources.

PM₁

PM₁

Ultrafine airborne particles measuring 1 micron or smaller. These particles remain suspended for long periods and are common in highly controlled indoor environments.

PM₂.₅

PM₂.₅

Fine particulate matter measuring 2.5 microns or less. Often associated with smoke, combustion, and indoor pollution, PM₂.₅ is one of the most important air quality indicators.

PM₄

PM₄

Respirable airborne particles up to 4 microns in diameter. They are commonly found in industrial workplaces and environments with airborne process dust.

PM₁₀

PM₁₀

Coarse suspended particles up to 10 microns, including dust, pollen, and larger airborne debris. Monitoring PM₁₀ helps assess overall cleanliness of indoor spaces.

AQI

Air Quality Index (AQI)

A standardized index that combines multiple pollutant readings into a single air quality score. It provides an easy-to-understand overview of the indoor environment.

Optional Add-On Parameters4 Configurable Expansion Slots
H₂

Hydrogen (H₂)

The lightest and highly flammable gas, commonly released during lead-acid battery charging. Continuous monitoring is essential in battery rooms to detect hazardous accumulation.

CO

Carbon Monoxide (CO)

A colorless, odorless, and toxic gas produced by incomplete fuel combustion. It is commonly monitored in utility rooms, parking areas, and mechanical spaces.

O₂

Oxygen (O₂)

A naturally occurring gas that makes up about 21% of the atmosphere and supports human respiration. Monitoring oxygen helps identify oxygen-deficient or oxygen-enriched environments.

H₂S

Hydrogen Sulphide (H₂S)

A toxic gas with a characteristic rotten-egg odor, typically found in wastewater, sewage, and industrial processing facilities. Even low concentrations require early detection.

NH₃

Ammonia (NH₃)

A colorless alkaline gas widely used in refrigeration systems, laboratories, and industrial manufacturing. Monitoring helps detect leaks before they become operational or safety concerns.

Configurable Sensor Options

  • Four configurable add-on sensor slots
  • Add-on communication support: RS-485
How It Works
[5/7]
01

Install the device

Wall mount the OSMO PRO unit in the indoor monitoring zone, attach external antennas to the SMA ports, and connect DC 5V 2A power.

02

Connect to the OSMOAIR Platform

Transmit data via Wi-Fi or SIM using secure MQTTS, or integrate into building management systems locally over Bluetooth / RS-485.

03

Monitor, alert, and report

Continuously acquire 10 built-in parameters plus up to 4 add-on gases, store data locally in 16 GB memory, trigger threshold alerts, and generate automated compliance reports.
